Our little tree
Till the last minute In search For the little Christmas tree At first Nothing decent found! But not sworn about it yet And simply continued to look. Then suddenly right in the corner Becoming aware of one, which Seemed to be there totally lost Looking sadly in front of itself Seeming to be alone and without any courage Not even thinking, That one would become aware of it.
We took it with us And draped it nice With Christmas tree balls and tinsel And candles too And it has been glaring bright For ev’rybodies delight For the holy day of Christ’s birth And it made us feeling happy So lovely as it has been staying there That all felt very pleaed about it Till far over New Years Eve Straight into the fresh New Year We never had a comparable tree In all the years before.
